After what felt like endless research, I found the right clinic and flights. I kept asking my self, ‘what if it went wrong’. I finally decided that even if it went wrong I would be happy that I had the confidence and courage to have it done in the first place.
I came to the conclusion that either way was a win, win situation. If the hair transplant was a success, I would have a lower hair line and thicker hair. If it went wrong, I would be proud of my self for doing what I want and going out in the world to get what I want.
My personal feeling on this is, if you have the confidence to have it done, you will gain the confidence to be who you want anyway. The bonus is that in the process you re-gain your hair.
Just by being the person who had a hair transplant. I instantly realised I can do anything I want anyway.
Having a hair transplant for me was not just about having new hair, it was a test of my confidence. The hair was a reward for taking that leap and going half way across the world to get what I wanted.
Its very easy to say, “I could have it done if I wanted” Try buying the flights and turning up to the clinic! It takes a lot of confidence and self worth. Be proud of your self for having it done, not embarrassed.
